A statement issued by the Office of the Chief Minister today said, 'The Chief Minister has accepted the resignation from the post of Chief Minister as per Clause (a) of Article 169 (1) of the Constitution of Nepal on today, 2082 BS Kartik 22.'
The statement issued by Shatrudhan Yadav, Acting Secretary of the Office of the Chief Minister, has mentioned that the existing Council of Ministers will carry out the duties of the Council of Ministers of the province until further provisions are made in accordance with Clause (3) of Article 169 of the Constitution of Nepal.
