All three federal ministers will observe the Chhath Puja from a two-storey ghat on the southern bank of Ganga Sagar in Janakpur in the evening. Along with the ministers, Home Secretary Rameshwor Dangal has also arrived in Janakpur to watch the Chhath Puja. 

Similarly, Israel's Ambassador to Nepal, Khanan Goder, has also arrived in Janakpur to observe the Chhath festival. He will visit Ganga Sagar Lake on Monday evening and observe the Chhath Puja.

According to Abhishek Jhunjhunwala, the owner of Hotel Welcome,  a large number of Indian and Japanese tourists have come to Janakpur to observe the Chhath festival. 'Almost all the hotels are full of foreign tourists,' said Jhunjhunwala, 'Although the Gen-G movement has reduced the number of foreign tourists coming to observe the Chhath festival, the tourists who have come now have done a promising business.'
