Rameshwor Sah, the elected ward chairman of Sukhipur Municipality-6, has passed away. The 50-year-old Sah, who was suffering from cancer, passed away at his residence in Badhari on Saturday night, informed Mayor Ram Autar Yadav.
According to Mayor Yadav, Sah was sent home about a week ago after undergoing treatment at Bharatpur Hospital in Chitwan. After experiencing kidney problems, cancer was discovered in his gallbladder during treatment. Sah was elected as ward chairman in the first local level election (2074 BS) and the second election (2079 BS).
Ward chairman Sah has a wife and two daughters.
