On Friday morning, two people were killed when a bus from Gharibathan to Kathmandu via Khairmara met with an accident.
Four people who were seriously injured in a bus accident in Mahottari's Khairmara have been prepared to be sent to Kathmandu by helicopter for further treatment.
Heramb Sharma, Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Mahottari, said that since the condition of 4 of the injured is alarming, preparations are being made to send them to Kathmandu by helicopter for further treatment.
4 people including 44-year-old Nirmala Tamang, 42-year-old Dirjaman Gole, 16-year-old Asmita Gole of Bardibas-10 who were seriously injured in the accident have been taken to Kathmandu by helicopter, according to the Bardibas Area Police Office. Those seriously injured in the bus accident were treated at Shubh Swastik Hospital in Bardibas.
After the treatment was not possible in Bardibas, the police said that they were referred to Kathmandu for further treatment. According to the hospital, the injured were taken out of Shubh Swastik Hospital by being placed in an armed police ambulance from the hospital to be placed in a helicopter.
