Two people were killed and one person was injured when a Scorpio and a motorcycle collided at Brahampuri in Sarlahi under Hulaki road section.

According to the District Police Office, Sarlahi, around 8:00 pm on Friday evening, a Scorpio with number MH 04 DJ 1297, which was going from Parsa to Velhi, hit a motorcycle with number 3-03-001 P 7575 coming from the opposite direction. There were three people on the motorcycle.

A 23-year-old Ankit Chaudhary of Brahampuri-2, a motorcyclist, was seriously injured in the collision. Police said that he died during treatment at Ram Janki Hospital in Janakpur. Similarly, 25-year-old Rohit Sahni, who was riding a motorcycle, also died last night. Both bodies have been kept at Malangwa Provincial Hospital.

23-year-old Shivshankar Pandit, who was sitting on the back of the motorcycle, was injured. According to the police, his condition is moderate and he has been referred to LS Neuro Hospital in Bara district for treatment. The Scorpio driver is absconding after the incident. The Scorpio and the motorcycle that were hit have been taken into custody by the police. The district police office said that further investigation is being done on the incident.
