Genji protestors have set fire to government buildings in Siraha. They have been protesting on the streets since Tuesday morning and started vandalizing and setting fire to government offices in the afternoon.

According to the Siraha police, protesters vandalized and set fire to Lahan Municipality, Kalyanpur Municipality, Internal Revenue Office, Home Office, Division Forest Office, etc.

The Siraha administration has imposed a curfew after the Zenji movement intensified. The District Administration Office, Siraha issued a notification on Tuesday and imposed curfew at various places in the district.

Chief District Officer of Siraha Vasant Adhikari said that a curfew order has been issued from 1 pm on Tuesday until further notice.

According to the official, curfew has been imposed in Golbazar, Mirchaiya, Siraha and surrounding areas along with Lahan. Zenji protestors are demonstrating by blocking markets and highways at various places in the district.
