A team of health workers including two doctors from Gaur Rautahat Provincial Hospital has arrived here to control the diarrhea and cholera seen in the vicinity of Birganj metropolis.

Since last Friday, a team of health workers led by Dr. Parashuram Yadav and Dr. Bishnu Kumar Sah from Gaur Provincial Hospital has arrived at Narayani Hospital in Birganj after the appearance of diarrhea and cholera patients in the area around Birgunj metropolis. 

Regional Hospital Gaur President Mohammad Anwar Hasmi informed that after diarrhea and cholera patients appeared in Birgunj, a team with necessary support doctors was sent to Birgunj. "We have sent a team with two doctors and three health assistants," he said.

So far, 79 cholera patients have been found in Birganj, while 130 people with diarrhea-related symptoms are being treated in various hospitals here.
