A man has been found guilty of raping his wife with a knife within a week of their marriage and has been sentenced to 6 months imprisonment and a compensation of 1 lakh rupees.

Dhanusha District Court Judge Dilkumar Bardeva's bench has given a verdict that the punishment and compensation should be paid after the confirmation of forced labor without the consent of the wife. Its full text was published on Thursday. Judge Bardeva's bench found the husband guilty in the case of forced marriage on May 13 and sentenced him on May 30.

This is how the

incident happened between the victim and the accused according to social tradition on May 14, 2079  The husband proposed to the wife to go to Kathmandu for honeymoon. The wife refused because she did not know him strongly. She said that she would go after getting to know each other well. However, a week after the marriage, on May 21, her husband entered the room after drinking alcohol at 9:30 in the night. His wife asked him to eat. However, it is mentioned in the charge sheet that the husband raped her by using the doorbell of the room.

"The monstrous tendency showed me a knife, forced me on the bed without my consent, took off my clothes,   forcibly made me bloody," it is mentioned in the victim's charge sheet.

The victim, who was injured due to her husband's rape, was treated for 10 days at Ramzan Hospital in Janakpurdham. After further treatment in Sitamarhi, India, the victim returned home.

The advocate who argued on behalf of the victim insisted that the punishment should be as per the prosecution claim as it was confirmed by the medical report, the hospital documents where the treatment was received, the bank notes of the doctors who examined the victim's health and the bank notes of the victim, and the bank notes of the people who understood.

Judge Bardeva ruled that after the arguments of the lawyers of both sides and the statements of the plaintiff-defendant, the claim of forced marriage was confirmed. It seems that the relationship between the victim and the defendant is husband-wife. It was seen that the victim was with the defendant even after the incident, and the victim was taken for treatment by the defendant during and after the incident.''
