Two patients with symptoms of diarrhea have died in Parsa.

Spokesperson of Narayani Hospital, Birganj Dr. Udayanarayan Singh informed that a patient who developed symptoms of diarrhea died on Saturday. He said that the patient died before being tested for cholera.  

Similarly, it is said that another patient who was being treated at Birganj Health Care died on Friday. The health office said that it has not been possible to check whether his death was due to cholera or not.

'Dedicated beds' to be treated

The District Health Crisis Management Committee has directed that 'dedicated beds' be allocated to treat cholera and diarrhea patients in all hospitals here.
