The Madhesh state government has started preparations for the investment conference. Madhesh state government is going to hold an investment conference this year. The discussion was held in the state capital Janakpur in the presence of Chief Minister Satish Kumar Singh, Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister Vasant Kumar Kushwaha, NITI Aayog member Rajkumar Singh and Chief Minister's economic advisor Ashok Baidh.
Baidh informed that the main objective of the conference is to introduce religious, cultural, social, economic and natural resources of the province to attract domestic and foreign investors, promote development through cooperation and partnership, create jobs and establish the province as a national and international investment destination. Investment opportunities in the fields of agriculture, industry, tourism, energy, infrastructure, health and education have been prepared to be presented through the
conference.
Similarly, it is expected that the province will attract internal and external investment and create jobs for local youth, promote tourism along with the protection of religious and cultural heritage, increase productivity in agriculture and industry, and strengthen economic self-sufficiency.
According to the provincial government, the investment conference will be an important opportunity for the sustainable economic development, social prosperity and cultural preservation of Madhesh province. For this, preparations are being made to make the program a success in cooperation between the state government, the private sector, the federal government and international development partners.
