Arun Mistry, Ramswaroop Mistry, Umesh Mistry and Dhruv Mistry of Sarlahi Ishwarpur-3 Bhaktipur Nott Toll were arrested by the staff of Division Forest Office while they were returning from Dumsi hunting.
On Wednesday night, when Laxminia was going to Sarlahi with 6 dead Dumsi, they were arrested by the Divisional Forest Officer of Sarlahi, Santosh Jha, according to Divisional Forest Office Mahottari.
Division Forest Office Mahottari has informed that 6 dead Dumsi were recovered from 2 plastic bags in motorcycles numbered Ba 88 P 1160 and Ba 56 P 2240 along with homemade weapons.
The arrested two motorcyclists have been kept in the custody of Sub Division Forest Office Lakshminiyan and 4 persons including Dumsi of Armed Forest Security Branch at Bardiwas-4 Maisthan . Dumsi Dhanusha was killed and brought to the farm of Haripur in the eastern area of Mahendranagar, the arrested said.
Even though Dumsi is not a reserved wildlife, Krishna Kumar Patel, Head of Sub-Division Forest Office Maisthan, said that since they were hunted without completing the process, they are preparing to prosecute the case according to the Forest Act.
