Parsa District Court awarded the judge who decided the most cases in the last financial year.

Information about the work review of the previous fiscal year and the annual action plan of the current year held at the court on Sunday and  Judge Madhav Prasad Ghimire was awarded in the honoring program of judges who have done excellent work. He was honored by the Chief Justice of the Court, Deepak Khanal. 

Judge Ghimire decided 983 cases in the last financial year. In this court, which has 11 judges, a target was set for each judge to decide 843 cases last year. Judge Ghimire has disposed of more cases than the target. In addition, Chief Justice Khanal has decided 939 cases, judges Nandkishore Prasad Yadav 762, Pramesh Kharel 615, Uttam Silwal 626, Anand Prasad Shrestha 630, Mohan Subedi 584, Upendra Keshar Khanal 657, Mukund Acharya 538, Kamalkant Joshi 566, Rudraprasad Subedi 501 cases. Other judges who were transferred from the court disposed of 455 cases last year.

Court Srestedar Prabhakar Kumar Mallik said that in the last year, there were 12,635 cases out of which 6,92 cases were transferred from the previous year, and 6,543 cases were newly registered. Last year, the target was to clear 66 percent of the cases. 

Among the main cases dismissed last year, there were 264 cases of divorce, 53 cases of domestic violence, 56 cases of extortion, 9 cases of Electronic Transactions Act and 6 cases of human trafficking. Similarly, 560 cases of women, 84 cases of senior citizens and 384 cases of children were dismissed.

Judge Nandkishore Prasad Yadav compared court cases for five years  He said that the rate is increasing. He said that after the implementation of the fifth strategic plan from last year, after the action plan was made and the work was started in a planned manner, it started to show positive results. He said that the court was able to clear 40.6 percent of cases in 2077/78, 46.06 percent in 2078/079, 47.64 percent in 2079/80, 57 percent in 2080/81 and 57.33 percent in 2081/082. 

Last year, the court recovered 7064909012 rupees 20 paise out of 3558 years 11 months 6 days imprisonment and 956 years 3 months 1 day imprisonment and 1 billion 3179 million 34 thousand 356 rupees 37 paise.
