An accident occurred when a train and a car collided with each other this morning near Thapa Chowk in Brahmpuri, Janakpurdham sub-metropolitan city-9.

Bagmati Pradesh 01-025ch 1290 car collided with a Nepal Railway train coming from Piparadhi station in Mahottari towards Janakpurdham at 8:30 am. 

District Police Office spokesman Barun Bahadur Singh informed that the accident took place in the "crossing area" near the railway. 

According to local eyewitnesses, there was a loud noise when the train hit the car. There were three people in the car. They suffered minor injuries while the car was heavily damaged.  . Police spokesperson Singh informed that the train service was disrupted for some time after the accident.
