The police have arrested nine people from Siraha along with the drug marijuana. Police arrested them from Aurhi rural municipality-4 Kamalpur on Saturday morning.
According to District Police Office Sirha, those arrested are 42-year-old Jairam Joshi, 30-year-old Shivakumar Sada, 22-year-old Krishna Sada, 18-year-old Suraj Sada, 17-year-old Pashupati Sada of Golbazar Municipality-1 Muksar of Sirha.
Similarly, 32-year-old Jeevach Sah of the same place, 42-year-old Rajindra Yadav of Aurahi Rural Municipality-3, 39-year-old Vaijnath Chaudhary of Kumarkhad Gram Panchayat-14 of Madhuvani District, India and 30-year-old Ramesh Kamat of the same place, police said.
1 hundred and 3 kilos of narcotic ganja in five sacks have been recovered from them. Siraha police chief Superintendent of Police Anantaram Sharma informed that a detailed investigation is underway.
