In Parsa, 2 billion 1985 million 98 thousand 990 rupees were allocated for the development budget, but only 1 billion 81 million 34 million 99 thousand 762 rupees were spent. Similarly, in Bara, only 2.36 billion 63 thousand 227 rupees have been spent for the budget allocation of 2 billion 36 million 68 lakh 54 thousand rupees.
In Parsa, only 10 million 89 lakh 45 thousand rupees have been spent out of the 16 million rupees budget of the Water Resources and Irrigation Development Division. Of the Rs 17 crore 25 lakh allocated to the Underground Water Resources and Irrigation Development Division, Rs 7 crore 87 lakh has been spent. Similarly, 89.8 million rupees have been spent out of the 99.6 million rupees budget of Parsa Infrastructure Development Office.
In Bara, only 245.7 million rupees have been spent out of the 31 million 13 million rupees budget of the water supply and sanitation division office. Of the 387 million rupees allocated to the Water Resources and Irrigation Development Division office, only 342.22 million rupees have been spent.
State Accounts Unit Office Parsa Chief Shyam Uday Thakur said that the main reasons are the lack of contracts in the planning time of the development construction, the outdated budget expenditure system and the long procurement process.
