After the arrest warrant was issued by the Rautahat District Court on fraud charges, Sanjay Sah, the fugitive head of the surveyor's office under Dillibazar in Kathmandu, has appeared in the office. After returning the victim's money, he appeared in the office from Sunday.
Santosh Kumar Choudhary of Garuda Municipality-6 Pothiyahi filed a complaint against Surveyor Chief Sah on the charge of defrauding money in land related transactions. Shah, who was absconding after the arrest warrant was issued by the court, appeared in the office three weeks later. Dhiraj Shrestha and Napi Chief Sah of Kathmandu, who were accused of defrauding the victim's money, arrived at the Rautahat District Attorney's office in Gaur on July 8 and submitted the payment documents.
Sah, who was on leave in the last week of May, did not appear at the office for fear of being arrested even though the leave ended on June 15. Prakash Oli, officer of surveyor's office Dillibazar, confirmed that Tokha Napi Chief Sah appeared in the office.
Garuda police registered a fraud case and obtained an arrest warrant from the court on June 13 after the Tokha Napi chief Sahahhit's people were involved in the purchase and sale of land. The victim, Santosh, had submitted the evidence to the police that he had deposited 10 million rupees to purchase the land.

It was agreed to purchase 11 katta 14 dhur land of 773 in joint investment by surveyor chief Sah and Santosh. Initially, Santosh had given Rs 10 million. When the money was insufficient to pass the registration, Chief Shah invested and brought the land in his name.
According to Santosh, the land was bought and sold for 2 crores. However, after Sah made four lots in 080/081 and sold them to four people without informing Santosh, who is said to be a partner, he was reported to the police on charges of fraud.
Police arrested her son Dhiraj and released him on bail after getting the information that land owner Vimala Shrestha had died. Chief Shah returned the money through Dhiraj.
