A demonstration has been held demanding water in Janakpurdham. On Sunday, the Samajwadi Yuva Sangh, close to the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal, demonstrated. They also demonstrated against the state government.

The protest started from Janak Chowk in Janakpurdham and reached the office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers through the District Administration Office Dhanusha. Samajwadi Yuva Sangh submitted memorandums in both places. A four-point memorandum was submitted to the district administration office and eight-point memorandum was submitted to the Chief Minister's office.

In the memorandum submitted to the federal government through Shankarhari Acharya, the chief district officer of Dhanusha, it is demanded that the land bill brought by the federal government should be repealed or amended, fertilizers and seeds should be provided immediately, a long-term plan should be brought to avoid the drought situation and plans should be brought to cover farmers and agriculture sector.

demonstration carried placards and shouted slogans such as 'Give corrupt government water', 'Announce relief package', 'Can't kill farmers', 'Anti-farmer government be careful', 'Stop exploiting thieves', 'Anti-farmer government hi-hi', 'Useless government dead body' and others.
