The death of a child in the regional hospital of Siraha, relatives protested saying negligence

After the death of a child in the provincial hospital in Siraha, the relatives became agitated. After the death of Rajan Ram, the 12-year-old son of Jhabulal Mahara of Sirha Municipality-6, his relatives became agitated.

Relatives of the deceased are protesting now by burning tires on the highway in front of the hospital. Because of this, the situation in the hospital area has become tense and traffic on the highway has been blocked.

Relatives allege that the child died because of the negligence of the hospital. According to mother Sunitadevi Mahara, Rajan was brought to the hospital at 10 am on Sunday after suddenly fainting at home.

After being admitted to the hospital, Dr. Sudesh Kumar Yadav, Dr. Nitesh Karna, Manish Mandal and others examined his health. During the medical examination, the child fainted due to weakness and the amount of blood in the body was very low.

However, the relatives of the child who went to the blood bank inside the provincial hospital did not receive blood. Sunita said that they were ordinary people of the village, they did not even know how to get blood from where, and even when they asked for advice, the staff did not take it seriously.

'If we had received blood in time, my son would not have died,' Sunita told Kantipur, 'The hospital did not even facilitate us for blood, because of the hospital and its staff, I had to lose my son today.'

However, the president of the hospital, Surendra Yadav, said that the B positive blood needed by the child was inside the hospital and the child died while the doctor was preparing to administer it. He claims that the child could not be saved as his condition was very critical.
