A Dalit youth has been killed in Saptari. The dead body of 32-year-old Rajkumar Khang of Dakneswari Municipality-8 was found in Rajgarh Rural Municipality-4 Pipra of the district on Thursday.
DSP Jitendra Kumar Basnet, Spokesperson of Saptari Police, said that Khang's body was found with his throat slit in the pool of a public pool. "After we received the information around 8 o'clock in the morning, a trained dog from the Madhesh Police Office is being investigated for micro-investigation of the incident," he said. The issue of why Khang reached there at night has not been revealed. The body has been sent to Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital Rajviraj for post-mortem. DSP Basnet said that more matters can be revealed after the post-mortem report.
Earlier on the morning of May 2nd, the body of 20-year-old Pujakumari Ram of Surunga Municipality-7 Ram Tol of the district was found in a suspicious condition. Even though it was confirmed that Pooja was killed during the investigation, the killer has not been found yet. DSP Basnet says that the team of CIB and District Police Office is investigating jointly in that incident as well. "We will resolve that incident soon," he said.
