The discussion on the budget of Madhesh state government has been postponed. At 1 o'clock on Thursday, the Provincial Assembly called for a meeting. However, at 12 noon, the state assembly issued a notice that the meeting was postponed indefinitely.

The discussion on the budget started only yesterday (Wednesday). Only opposition MP Ram Ashish Yadav and ruling party Ramita Pradhan participated in the discussion. Speaker Ram Chandra Mandal adjourned the meeting after other MPs did not participate in the discussion. The Speaker's Council announced that the meeting was adjourned until 1 o'clock on Thursday as the MPs had not studied the Red Book. On the first day it was operated for only 23 minutes and 21 seconds.

Before the start of the first day's meeting, the working arrangement consultation committee had a meeting and the agenda was decided for the 22nd of June. But the Speaker suddenly adjourned the meeting for an indefinite period and accused Ram Ashish Yadav, chief whip of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) in Nepal, who has become a puppet of the government. He expressed his objection to the work of the government and the speaker and said that he will boycott the upcoming budget discussion. He complains that the budget has been brought by giving priority to middlemen.

Kanish Patel, chief whip of CPN United Socialist Party, objected to the Speaker and the government's adoption of Rabaiya. He argued that the Speaker, contrary to parliamentary practice, has imprisoned the House at someone's behest. "The government cannot stop the regular session," he said. "The government can only start and end the session."

Maoists, Jaspa, United Socialist Party, RPP and Nepal Federal Socialist Party have prepared to boycott the upcoming budget discussion.
