Three people were killed when a motorcycle and a bicycle collided with each other on the Hulaki road section of Siraha Municipality-18 Laxminia this afternoon.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Birendra Kumar Paswan of the District Police Office informed that when a motorcycle number 2-01003 P 3230 traveling from east to west and a bicycle coming from the opposite direction collided with each other, the three people who were seriously injured died.
Among the deceased are Pradeep Mukhia, 24 years old from Kalyanpur Municipality-2 Belha, Siraha, Naresh Mukhia, 22 years old from Kalyanpur-12 and Kuse Rai, 45 years old from Sirha Municipality-2 riding a bicycle.
All the three people who were seriously injured in the accident were taken to the provincial hospital in Sirha for treatment. However, the doctor declared everyone dead. The bodies of the deceased have been kept at the hospital for post-mortem, police said. The police said that they are investigating the incident further.
