Motorcycle theft gang arrested in Bardibas

The police have detained four people with a stolen motorcycle from Bardibas. Bajaj Pulsar motorcycles stolen from Bardibas at different times in the last one month and the people involved in the theft were arrested by the police on Saturday, according to the Bardibas area police office.

Police Deputy Superintendent of Police Bikas Bam of Area Police Office Bardibas said that police arrested 32-year-old Dil Bahadur Singdong of Sarlahi Hariwan-10, 21-year-old Padam Thing of Wagmati Municipality-4, 26-year-old Pasang Titung of Makwanpur Bagmati Rural Municipality-7 and 22-year-old Suresh Ghising of Sarlahi Wagmati Municipality-4 along with the stolen motorcycle. He also said that further investigation is being conducted after arresting the motorcycle thieves who were stolen from Hariwan, Wagmati and Rautahat in Sarlahi.

2072 On June 11, 2072, a black-red 220 cc Pulsar with the number Lu.Pr.01-006P.0825 parked in front of City Care Hospital, on June 19, a 220 cc black-red Pulsar with the number 02-008P.8868 from Bardibas-14 Hamal Toll, Madhes Pradesh, was stolen on June 24 from in front of the house of Parshuram Mahto of Hamal Toll. The police said that the police arrested the persons involved in the theft along with the 220 cc untested Pulsar, and the 150 cc untested Pulsar motorcycle parked at Bardibas-14 Risona Galli on the same day.

After continuous incidents of motorcycle thefts started in Bardibas, police deputy superintendent Bam said that in addition to regular patrols, deployment of police in plain clothes, increased surveillance through CCTV cameras, in coordination with Bardibas Mechanical Engineering and Parts Association and motorcycle repair garage operators, the search for stolen motorcycles and the arrest of those involved in the theft have been made.

In the preliminary investigation, it has been revealed that the main planner of the motorcycle theft is 26-year-old Pasang Titung of Makwanpur Bagmati Rural Municipality-7. Titung, who was living with a tent in Chandranigahpur of Rautahat, planned to steal a motorcycle in Bardibas. The police also recovered the key to break the lock of the motorcycle from the thieves.
