46 billion 58 crore 33 lakh 51 thousand has been allocated for the upcoming financial year by the government of Madhesh province. Finance Minister Sunil Kumar Yadav presented the budget for the financial year 2082/083 in the Madhesh Pradesh Assembly on Sunday.

16 billion 72 million 5 lakh 17 thousand i.e. 35.89 percent for current and 30 billion 26 million 28 million 34 thousand i.e. 64.11 percent for capital. In the current financial year, the government has allocated 43 billion 89 million 21 lakh 70 thousand .

The budget presented by Minister Yadav has increased by 6.13 percent compared to the current financial year.

Minister Yadav said that he has taken a strategy of spending 9 billion 508.3 million from internal revenue, 7.72 billion 19 million from financial equalization grant, 4.26 billion 1.8 million from conditional grant, 39.45 million from special grant, 358.2 million from supplementary grant and a total of 12.73 billion 64 million.

Similarly, from federal revenue sharing  12 billion 35 million 84 million, 10 billion 38 million 2 million 51 thousand will be spent from last year's savings. Minister Yadav said that since the amount is less than 2 billion, an internal loan will be taken to spend the amount.
