The policy and program of the upcoming financial year, presented by the Madhesh state government in the state assembly, is being discussed from Monday. Last Friday, four parliamentarians have filed amendment proposals on the policies and programs presented by the provincial chief Sumitra Bhandari in the provincial assembly.

Chief Whip of Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal Ram Ashish Yadav, another MP of JSP Nepal Sanjay Yadav, Kiran Kumari and Malakumari Karn on behalf of Maoists have registered the amendment proposal.

Since they did not mention the Madhesh movement and the people's war in the policy and program, they filed an amendment proposal demanding that it should be added, that the martyr families of the Madhesh movement should continue the facilities and add new ones, and that employment should be arranged for the disabled. It is proposed by the amendment MPs to add the protection, promotion and development of Maithili, Bhojpuri, Bajjika, the mother tongue of the majority in the Madhesh province and local level established in the

identity, and to add the construction of the Kamala Bridge.
