Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is laying the digital foundation stone of all 64 roads simultaneously from Mahendra Narayan Nidhi Mithila Sanskriti Bhawan in Janakpur. Physical Infrastructure Development Minister Saroj Kumar Singh informed that all the preparations for road foundation laying and Prime Minister Oli's visit to Janakpur have been completed.
In a press conference held at the Ministry on Saturday, Minister Yadav said that resources have been secured for 5 and a half to 7 meter black paper roads in 64 constituencies (provinces) of 8 districts of Madhesh . "Under the multi-year plan, the goal is to complete the construction of 64 black-paved roads in 3 years," Minister Yadav said, "Accordingly, about 1270 crore rupees have been allocated in one constituency, one road plan." Sanjay Prasad Sah, Acting Secretary of the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development, informed that 5 kilometers of tarred roads will be constructed in all 64 constituencies under the One Constituency, One Road scheme.
According to him, 320 kilometers of tarred roads will be constructed in all 64 constituencies of Madhesh province in three years.
