Nepal Insurance Authority Madhes Province office has collected 2 billion 1576 million insurance fee towards non-life insurance in nine months of the current financial year. During the same period, the number of insurance articles issued towards non-life insurance is two lakh 59 thousand 475.

Seven thousand 124 numbers towards non-life insurance is one billion 60 million 26 million  Demanded payment of claim amount. However, the office said that 1 billion 843 million claims have been paid to 5 thousand 585 people who requested it  .

Preeti Dev, Head of Madhes Province Office of Nepal Insurance Authority, complained that due to the lack of public awareness in Madhes Province, the general public's attraction towards insurance has not increased relatively. "We have been conducting an insurance-related literacy campaign," he said, "We are hopeful that access to insurance will increase in the coming days."

office has collected 11.16 billion 79 million for life insurance fee in nine months of the current year. During that period, there are 86,670 life insurance policies in Madhes Province. Madhes Province's share in life insurance fee collection is 9.24 percent.
