Madhes Chief Minister Satish Kumar Singh has reorganized the cabinet after removing two ministers.

On Thursday, Chief Minister Singh dismissed Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister Sakil Mian Ansari and Forest and Environment Minister Tribhuwan Shah and appointed Basant Kumar Kushwaha and Sanjay Kumar Yadav. 

Kushwaha has been given the responsibility of the tourism ministry and Yadav has been given the responsibility of the forest ministry. 

Kushwaha was earlier in the government led by Saroj Kumar Yadav of Janata Samajwadi Party as Minister of Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives, while Yadav was the Minister of State. 

State chief Sumitra Subedi Mandari has appointed Kushwaha and Yadav as ministers according to clause (9) of Article 168 of the Constitution of Nepal on the recommendation of Chief Minister Singh.

Janmaat Party had decided to remove Ansari and Shah from the responsibility after evaluating the work.
