Home Minister Ramesh Akhtar has said that Madhesh is the land of revolution. At the orientation program of the Congress held on Wednesday at Rajviraj in Saptari, the Home Minister said -

'Madhesh is the land of democracy, all revolutions till date have arisen from the land of Madhesh. Madhesh has led. It is Madhesh that raises the consciousness of democracy.'

Madhesh should move forward cautiously against federalism and anti-democratic forces. The home minister claimed that something has changed in the 10 months since the formation of the current government.
