A teacher beat up a student in Siraha. Students studying at Apex Vidya Mandir, a private school located in Golbazar Municipality-7 Choharwa, were severely beaten by the teacher.
Abhinash Yadav, the 13-year-old son of Suresh Yadav of Naraha rural municipality-3 Khoria, who is studying in class 8, was beaten by the school teacher Santosh Gupta on Friday. Due to the beating, he has bruises on his face, back, thighs and other parts of his body.
Avinash's father, Suresh, is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Golbazar. He says that when his son complained that the quality of his studies was not good, teacher Gupta angrily beat him to death. Since
, the police have detained teacher Gupta based on the complaint of the victim's family. Gupta has been taken into custody and the incident is being investigated, said Govind Shah, chief police inspector of the area police office, Golbazar.
Vijay Mahato, the owner of the school, tried several times to understand this matter, but he did not want to get in touch.
