An incident has come to light that a young man who is a resident of Rising Nepal Correctional Center in Gaur Municipality-4 of Rautahat was brutally beaten up. An old video of a youth being hit on the leg by a pipe in a correctional center has gone viral on social media. The police have started an investigation into the incident.
Three people fight and hold a young man inside the Rising Nepal Correctional Center. Another person is clearly seen in the video beating Patila continuously with a white pipe. In the 41-second long video, loud music can be heard playing in the background to drown out the young man's screams from the beating. Suraj Kumar Gupta, the owner of the
correctional center, claimed that the local staff of Gaur he employed made the video 7/8 months ago and after they were found to be taking drugs, the video went viral. "An old employee of mine called Vikas Gupta deliberately made a video to defame me," he said, "now Gupta has run away." I have requested the police to investigate him.
District Police Office Rautahat DSP Deepak Kumar Rai has reached the correctional center to understand the incident. "In the incident, we are understanding about the beating and the battered," he said, "both the battering and the battered are not in contact." We understand the reality by contacting them.'
