An incident has come to light that the police is regularly torturing a Dalit family after the girl became uncontactable in Dhanusha. According to PD, Dhanusha police detained Jageshwar Ram of Mahottari Bhangaha municipality and subjected him to mental torture.

21-year-old son Santosh Ram of Jageshwar and 17-year-old girl of Dhanusha Bateshwar rural municipality-2 Kachhari tol lost contact three weeks ago. The video of their inter-caste love marriage has been published on social media. Since then they have been living in hiding . Not in touch with family . However, Jageshwar's brother Rambabu said that besides calling the police and threatening them, they were detained and tortured for one day on Tuesday.

The girl's side has filed an application at the local police office, Mahendranagar. In which Kishiri, who was only 17 years and eight months old, was chased away by Lalife, so it has been requested to search and take action against those involved. After that, the police initially called Jageshwar for 5 days and threatened to hand over his son or send him to jail in a kidnapping case. The Ram family says that the police call in the morning and send them home in the evening. However, Jageshwar said that on Tuesday evening he was kept in the custody of the district police without being sent home.

On Wednesday, Jageshwar was released from custody at 3 pm after discussion. Jageshwar threatened that the police will prosecute everyone if they do not appear within three days  Tell . "They have asked both of them to appear in three days," he said. He says that the police pressured him not to talk about this outside. His family declined to comment further after the discussion.

Senior Deputy Inspector of Police Shyambabu Yadav of the Mahendranagar area police office was asked in which case Jageshwar was being investigated by the police, he did not answer . However, 5 days ago he called and admitted that he had inquired about Kishiri without contact. He said that the police received a complaint that he was missing and called him to assist in the investigation. "We asked for 5 days to help in the search," he said, "Yesterday we sent it to the district." Ask the district for the rest. The women's cell is looking into the case.'

Nikita Mishra, the police inspector of the women's cell, tried to avoid saying that she was unaware of the matter. She said that there was no discussion about inter-caste love marriage with the girl and she said to talk to the DSP to understand more.

DSP Barun Bahadur Singh also said that there is no information. "Such cases are looked into by women's cell," he said, "don't take information from them." "Whoever is in power, the police listens to him". He said, "The police do not accept the poor, Dalits even if they are legal".

Advocate Rinkukumari Yadav said that the police are under political pressure. He says that there is a lot of pressure from local politicians and this trend is increasing. She says that Dalits are insecure due to various types of intimidation. "To bridge the gap between non-Dalits and Dalits, the police should work according to human nature and laws," she said, "Politicians should also be aware and advocate correctly."
