On the occasion of the birth anniversary of holy Janaki, a formal program has started from Monday at the Janaki temple in Janakpurdham.
According to the program organized by the Janaki temple, every day from today at 4 pm Shri Ram Katha recital and at 7 pm in the sanctum sanctorum Janaki Janma Badhai mangalang and cultural program will be conducted, said Mahanth Ramroshan Das, the successor of the temple. Besides, Akhand Ramayana lessons will also continue regularly.
On the main day of the birth anniversary, Janaki's royal bath will be held in Dudhmati river from Janaki temple on Tuesday 23rd Baisakh at 5 am. On the same day, at 12:00 p.m. birth aarti and congratulatory mangalgan, 4:00 p.m. Dola Shobha Yatra and 7:00 p.m. Deepotsav with special aarti has been scheduled.
From Janaki's birth to Chathihar, every day at 7 pm in the sanctum sanctorum of the Janaki temple, a birth congratulatory song is sung. According to the temple management committee, a matkor program will be organized for Janakpurdham worship on this 24th of Baisakh and Sitaram marriage festival will be celebrated on 25th of Baisakh with religious and cultural songs.
On the same day, Manas Mohini informed that a special Ramkatha reading program will also be held from Devi. According to him, extensive preparations have been made to celebrate Janaki's birthday with special fanfare in Janakpurdham.
