Madhesh Pradesh Police has started investigation into the death case of Anandi Saday of Navrajpur rural municipality-3 Jagatpur Donwari tol who was found hanging in her house after not getting justice in the case of sexual abuse.

The investigation team led by SSP Shantiraj Koirala of Madhesh Pradesh Police Office, Janakpur started investigating the incident from Sunday. A team led by Koirala went to the victim's house on Sunday and questioned the family.

24-year-old Saday was found dead hanging in her house at 3 o'clock last Tuesday afternoon. Before that, on December 9, 22-year-old Sanjiv Kumar Yadav and 32-year-old Shyamsunder Yadav of the village attempted to gang-rape her.

However, on the same day, despite filing a complaint at the local police office, Maheshpur Patar, the accused party and the police also pressured the victim to meet in the village. When the police did not listen, the victim's family prepared to go to the media, and after a month and a half, their complaint was registered on February 25.

However, despite the case being registered, the police was reluctant to arrest the accused. The accused have not yet been arrested, while the police have not been able to bring the people involved in the incident to justice.
