It has been revealed that the Dalit girl who was found dead in suspicious circumstances in Surunga Municipality-7 of Saptari on Tuesday was subjected to sexual violence three years and five months ago. Surunga-7, she was found dead on Tuesday, one kilometer away from her house, covered with leaves.

"The juvenile who was sentenced at that time might have been angry about that incident," said the investigating police, "he is being investigated under suspicion." According to the preliminary investigation of the police, he returned to the village only a week ago. "The suspect was found dead less than a week after he returned to the village, who was on the run after being punished," a police source said, adding that more details will come as the teenager has been arrested.
