Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal's Saptari district office was locked by youth and students of the party on Thursday afternoon.

During the ward session, there was a dispute between the two parties in Parsahim of Bishnupur rural municipality-1 on Thursday. In that order, Samajwadi Yuva Sangh Saptari president Kedar Yadav and  Samajwadi Yuva Sangh Bishnupur City President Devendra Yadav was injured. Both of them have head injuries. 

After the incident, the youth and students locked the party office in Rajviraj. The young students are demanding that Yadav should be suspended from the post of district vice president of the party and that he should resign as the president of the municipality on the basis of ethics, accusing him of beating up the party's district vice president and Bishnupur rural municipality chairman Umesh Kumar Yadav.

Samajwadi Students Union Saptari President Shyam Kumar Yadav and Samajwadi Yuva Sangh District Vice President Sikendra Kumar Mandal issued a joint statement and demanded the postponement of the municipal assembly scheduled for Friday.
