Health workers staged a sit-in in front of the office of the Madhesh Chief Minister and Council of Ministers. On Monday, Senior Aheb and Anami fifth level Sangharsh Committee staged a sit-in.
There are errors in the Local Service Formation and Operation Act, and they are demanding three points of amendment . It is stated in the demand letter of the Sangharsh Committee, which staged a sit-in demanding that since the first point in the health service is the fourth level, there should be 100 percent filling of posts from the open, section-2 of the Local Services Act should be amended and two levels should be upgraded from the past.
Aheb and Anami health workers of Madhesh province, who are working at the local level, said through a letter that they were forced to go ahead with the program of struggle after the demand was not addressed even after drawing the attention of the government. The act was published in the state gazette of the Madhesh state government on August 7.
