8 people have been arrested from Siraha along with the drug brown sugar. Siraha police arrested 8 people from different places of the district on Friday and Saturday.

According to the police, 24-year-old Praveen Budhathoki and 22-year-old Shravan Kumal of Dudhauli Municipality-10 in Sindhuli were arrested with 2 grams and 500 milligrams of brown sugar from the border area on Friday.

Similarly, 19-year-old Sushant Pajiar of Mirchaiya Municipality-8 and Vijay Mahato of Mirchaiya-5 were arrested on Saturday from the border area with 0.92 grams of brown sugar.

Similarly, 21-year-old Sunil Bahadur Tamang of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-11 was arrested with 23.95 grams of brown sugar on Saturday from a Mader-Lahan bus, according to the police.

Similarly, 21-year-old Pawan Sah of Dhangadhimai Municipality-9, 21-year-old Lalbabu Rai of Dhangadhimai-8 and 23-year-old Ankesh Mahato were arrested with 33.15 grams of brown sugar from the hospital square located in Lahan Municipality-3.

DSP Birendra Kumar Paswan, spokesperson of the District Police Office, Siraha, said that more investigation is being done on them with a deadline from the Siraha District Court.
