A woman here was seriously injured when her body caught fire while burning chaff. On Saturday afternoon, the 50-year-old wife of Satyanarayana Sah of Rupni Rural Municipality-6, Amladevi, was seriously injured when her body caught fire.
According to DSP Jitendra Basnet of the district police office, while burning chaff in his own farm, his saree caught fire and his body caught fire. She was seriously injured as 45 percent of her body was burnt by fire and she is being treated at Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital Rajviraj.

Similarly, a fire broke out in Nagendra Chaudhary's furniture shop in Khadga Municipality-8 on Saturday afternoon. His furniture shop has been destroyed by fire. The fire was brought under control by the joint efforts of Varuna Yantra, locals and security personnel of Shambhunath Municipality.
