The Revenue Investigation Office at Pathalaiya has filed a case in the Janakpur High Court against three people who smuggled 34 tons of onions.
According to Hari Prasad Sharma, Chief Investigation Officer of the Revenue Investigation Office, a case has been filed against Shiv Parvati Traders owner Janakdulari Devi, driver of Indian cargo 16-wheeler lorry truck Umesh Yadav and rich Indian citizen Naresh Yadav for being involved in the theft of 34 tons of onions.
The accused have filed a case with a demand of 36 lakh 58 thousand 100 including fines and fines for committing an offense prohibited by Section 3 of the Revenue Leakage (Investigation and Control) Act, 2052 by not passing the customs inspection while importing onions.
Similarly, Yadav, the owner of 16 wheeler lorries, has been charged as a defendant for the purpose of confiscating the truck. In the current financial year, the Revenue Investigation Office has registered 12 cases of revenue leakage.
