Five persons who have been absconding for 9 years without paying the fine of 14 rupees 50 paise have been arrested

The Saptari police have arrested five people who have been on the absconding list for the last 9 years without paying the fine of 14 rupees 50 paise set by the court.

According to the District Police Office, Saptari, those five people were arrested and submitted to the court. Among those arrested are Brahmadesh Mandal, Chandradev Mandal, Jitendra Mandal, Jagnarayan Mandal and Khushi Lal Mandal of Tilathi Koiladi Rural Municipality-7 of Saptari. 

According to the decision of the Saptari District Court on 7th Baisakh 2073 in the case of assault and robbery, a fine of 14 rupees 50 paisa was imposed on all five of them. They were on the absconding list without paying the fine amount. However, they have been released after paying the prescribed fine. 

The police also arrested Kailu Yadav of Rajviraj-13 who was fined 500 rupees in the assault case, Devram Yadav and Birendra Prasad Yadav who were fined 275 rupees and Shyamprasad Singh Rajput of Tilathi Koiladi-4 who was fined 200 rupees in the fraud case and were presented to the court and they were also released after paying the prescribed fine.
