Chief Minister of Madhesh Province, Satish Kumar Singh, visited the hospital operating in Siraha's business market, Mirchaiya, and inspected it. Chief Minister Singh visited 14 private hospitals operating in Mirchaiya on Saturday evening and inspected them.

Out of which 13 hospitals have been closed, Chief Minister Singh informed. Siddhakamana Hospital, Vishnu Polyclinic, Balasansar Health Care, Balakalyan Health Care, Samit Mount Hospital, SJK Polyclinic, Mangalam Health Care Center have been closed, he said.

Similarly, Shanti Health Care, Shri Ram Oral and Dental Clinic, Rekha Nursing Home, Mithila Eye Treatment Center, Lakshmi Health Care and Life Line Clinic have also been closed. He says that most of those hospitals are not registered.

Likewise, a 15-day letter has been cut off to Manakamana Mid Eastern Hospital, which is running against the norms. It has been found that this hospital has been operating more services illegally even though it has received approval for only 15 beds. Now this hospital will have to be monitored by the Ministry of Health within 15 days.

Two employees of Siddhakamana Hospital have been arrested among the illegally operated hospitals. Santosh Kumar Thakur, public health officer of the Ministry of Health, said that the two employees who tried to escape by closing the shutters as soon as the monitoring team left despite being admitted to the hospital, were handed over to the police.

Similarly, the factory of Mungeria Sweets and Chaat House operating at Katari Chowk in Mirchaiya has been sealed. The factory was sealed after it was found that inedible and rotten things were used in making food and there was haphazard garbage. On Sunday, Chief Minister Singh informed that the concerned agency will collect samples from this factory and after examining it, the owner will be brought under the scope of action according to the prevailing law.
