Police has submitted the investigation report of the incident of atrocities against Dalits in the name of Maha Yagya in Aurhi Rural Municipality-5 of Siraha to the public prosecutor's office. After completing the investigation of the case related to caste discrimination and untouchability, the police submitted the report to the government prosecutor on Thursday.

Village chairman Shivji Yadav and former ward president Dilip Yadav were arrested in the incident of demolition of the house of Deepak Mallik of Aurhi Dalit community on the evening of the 9th. Then on the 10th, the police along with them filed a complaint against Bajrangi Baba with the victim.

According to the law, the deadline for investigating caste discrimination and untouchability cases is up to 25 days. However, the District Police Office, Siraha completed the investigation within 6 days and submitted the report to the public prosecutor.

District Attorney Rajendra Basnet informed that the investigation report has arrived in his office on Thursday and the work of studying it is going on. He said that if there are any errors in the investigation report, it will be sent to the police and if not found, the charge sheet will be filed in the court.  .

After the public prosecutor files the indictment, a hearing will be held behind closed doors in Siraha District Court. There is a legal system of imprisonment for 3 months to 3 years and a fine of 50,000 to 2 lakhs for crimes related to caste untouchability.
