Hari Gautam has been elected unopposed as the president of Birgunj Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

From the 49th annual general meeting and convention of the association, Madhav Rajpal as senior vice president, Manoj Das as second vice president, Shivji Prasad Kalwar as general secretary, Anoj Rungta as treasurer, Premchandra Goyal as secretary, Sushant Chachan, Niraj Aggarwal as co-treasurer and Naresh Tivdewal as joint secretary were elected unopposed. 

Chief Electoral Officer Balmukund Kharel informed that Anup Agarwal was elected as joint secretary in the election. Among the office bearers, only the joint secretary post was voted for.

According to the constitution of the association, there will be 12 officers.
