'The process of selecting the central president cannot be accepted'
Madhesh Chief Minister Satish Kumar Singh has alleged that there is a big conspiracy to rig the Secondary Education Examination (SEE). Chief Minister Singh said that the decision of the Madhesh state government was not implemented in SEE, so the examination was taken out of the process.
He said that there is a situation where the question papers are being released before the examination has started, and there is increasing activity of the center president and teachers to steal tickets from the examinees. "We were trying to improve this situation. But we are of the opinion that it is unfortunate and counter-productive for the union government to remain in the selection of the central president and disobeying the instructions of the state government from the district examination committee," he said.
Chief Minister Singh said that the process of selection of center president by the Education Examination Coordinating Committee, chaired by the Chief District Officer and Chief Member Secretary of the Education Development and Coordinating Unit, cannot be accepted.
'We wanted to increase the morale of qualified and capable teachers to give them the feeling of equal opportunities and control the pressure or interference of interest groups in the conduct of examinations,' he said, 'Decisions of the provincial government will be made in the interests of interest groups.' He said that the state government is thinking that the central president should be appointed through the round robin system. Education and Culture Minister Rani Sharma Tiwari said that the state government cannot stand as a witness when it can lead to distortions and confusion in the
examination. She says that there should be a deep investigation into the issue of Mrishtabhoomi selection of the central president, which is challenging the instructions of the state government and the union.
