In the independent student union election to be held on Chait 5, 7 candidates have been nominated for the post of president from Mahendra Bindeshwari Multipurpose Campus Rajviraj.

Two candidates each from the Samajwadi Vidyarthi Union Nepal and the Nepal Vidyarthi Sangh have nominated for the post of President of Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal.

According to Chief Election Officer Nandkishore Yadav, Ranjit Kumar Yadav and Vinay Kumar Yadav have submitted candidatures for the post of President of Samajwadi Vidyarthi Union Nepal. Similarly, Nitish Kumar Yadav and Om Shankar Sah from Nepal Vidyarthi Sangh, Manisha Kumari Sah from Aneraswa University, Triveni Kumar Yadav from Vidyarthi Janmat Sangh and Rakesh Kumar Yadav from Akhil Krantikari have registered their candidature.

Chief Yadav said that updating the list of candidates for other posts is underway.

There will be direct elections for 10 positions and proportional elections for 9 positions, including the president.
