A fire broke out in the house of Shatrudhan Mandal, the ward president of Dakneshwari Municipality 7 in Saptari on Sunday night.
The mandal's house and shed were burnt due to a sudden fire at night. According to the police, 7 goats, 2 goats and 1/1 buffalo and pada in the barn were burnt to death.
The police said that the fire caused a loss worth 8 lakh 78 thousand rupees.
