Farmers Labor Movement District Committee protested in Birgunj on Sunday. The committee staged a protest rally and reached the district administration office and handed over a memorandum to the Home Minister Ramesh Akhtar through Chief District Officer Ganesh Aryal.

Krishnaraj Thakur, President of Kisan Labor Movement Nepal Persa, said that the government's serious attention was drawn through a memorandum objecting to the non-implementation of the agreement with the government. The

committee expressed its opposition to the government's recent political interference in the matter of investigation commission against unfair transactions and another commission imposed to make the commission ineffective. In the

memorandum, it is alleged that about 60,000 applications registered in the government data so far have been thrown into the trash without any research. The protestors have expressed their anger on the government saying that by keeping the victims in confusion, action is being taken against them through the police mechanism.  He alleges that instead of finding a solution according to the demands of

victims, the state is protecting the meter bag borrowers and deploying government mechanisms.

While understanding the memorandum, Prajia Aryal said that he is trying his best to solve the problems in the district. He said that both the police and the district administration are taking initiatives to solve the problem.
