A snakebite treatment center has been established in Navrajpur Rural Municipality. Shiv Udgar Yadav, chairman of the rural municipality, inaugurated the snake bite center established at the primary health center located in Navrajpur-4 during a program.
Residents around the Hulaki highway had to die every year in the famine because they did not receive timely treatment for snakebite. We have established a snakebite treatment center according to the plan to expand access to easy treatment for the locals,' said Navrajpur Health Coordinator Sanjiv Kumar Yadav.
According to him, the team of doctor Jitendra Yadav, trained with the technical support of the Nepali Army, will conduct the treatment and the center will be managed by the rural municipality. According to the rural municipality, resources of Rs. 1.5 million have been managed for the operation of the center and will be added according to the need. is Village chairman Yadav said that with the establishment of the
center, the compulsion to go to Choharwa or Lahan for snakebite treatment will end. According to him, since the center has been operating by managing 'snake anti-venom' and other materials required for treatment, he expressed his belief that there will be no shortage of resources for treatment. The residents of Navrajpur rural municipality as well as Bhagwanpur, Bariyarpatti and other rural municipalities of the district will benefit from the operation of the
center. Local Ramautar Yadav donated the land for the establishment of snakebite treatment center.
