Person 1: Jobs in two government offices, salary and allowances from both places

Is it possible for the same person to hold different positions in two government offices for years and receive salary and allowances from both places? This is what happened in Saptari.

Sharda Chaudhary of the then Busbiti Village Development Committee Ward No. 6 of Saptari is working as a computer operator in the ward office of Rupni Rural Municipality-5. This same Sharda is also working as a child development teacher at Narendra Memorial Secondary School located in Rajviraj Municipality-16.

On July 1, 2071, Chowdhury started working as a social administrator under the Local Government and Community Development Program (LGCDP) program for social mobilization under the then District Development Committee. After the program was over, the then Busbiti govt continued him as a social manager. Later, when Busbiti became Rupani rural municipality-5, the rural municipality continued his contract and employed him as a computer operator in the ward office. She has been receiving a monthly salary of 22,000 rupees from Rupani Rural Municipality.

This Chaudhary was appointed as a child development facilitator in the then Boria VDC in 057. 057 According to the decision of District Education Office dated 19th of Baisakh, he was appointed as Child Development Facilitator from 22nd of Baisakh. Boria Gabis is now ward number 16 of Rajviraj Municipality. Sarada's job as a child development teacher at the Child Development Center under the Narendra Memorial Secondary School in this ward has been extended.

She is now receiving a monthly salary of 17,000 rupees from Rajviraj Municipality after she has verified her attendance at Narendra Memorial Secondary School.

Ramanand Sunarait, headmaster of Narendra Memorial Secondary School, said that he also heard that Chaudhary was working in two places. Tarani Prasad Yadav, Acting Chief Administrative Officer of Rupni Rural Municipality, is on leave and other employees did not want to tell about it.

In a conversation with Kantipur, Sharda claimed that she used to go to the community as a child development teacher from 6 to 10 in the morning to teach students and worked as a computer operator in the afternoon.
