The body of a newborn baby was found in Birganj-10 Adarshnagar on Tuesday night. The body of a 7-month-old child was found in a drain near the Green City Community Police Station.
After seeing the child's body, the locals informed the police at around 8:20 pm. The body was found wrapped in plastic and thrown away by the police team from Ward Police Office Veerta and District Police Office.
The body has been sent to Narayani Hospital Birgunj for autopsy. Parsa police spokesperson DSP Kishore Lamsal informed that more information about the infant's body will be available only after the examination.
